The Interim Global Demand Lead (Maternity Leave Coverage) safeguards continuity and performance of Ultimo's demand generation activities during a temporary period. This role focuses strictly on priority execution, performance monitoring, and team enablement within a 20‐hour workweek and manages a team of 4 direct reports and 2 indirect reports. Rather than redefining strategy, this role ensures that ongoing initiatives across content, campaigns, and events remain aligned to pipeline objectives and commercial impact. The focus is on optimization, removing roadblocks, budget control, and disciplined prioritization.

Reporting to the CMO, this is a senior interim role with a strong operational lens. The ideal candidate brings decisiveness, clarity in prioritization, and the ability to maintain momentum without expanding scope.

  • Domain – 20%
    • Support the onboarding of the new Content Marketing Manager, together with the team.
    • Prioritizing tasks in line with the job description.
    • Progress of goals set on Content Strategy & GEO.
    • Getting roadblocks out of the way (reporting, tooling, collaboration etc.) and troubleshooting together with the Content Marketer.
  • Guide the team to optimize Demand Gen Campaigns – 30%
    • Brainstorming on new ABM 1:few initiatives & connecting the docs between all activities.
    • Monitoring results & advising/challenging DG Marketing Managers on optimizing initiatives for ROI/awareness.
    • Getting roadblocks out of the way (reporting, tooling, collaboration etc.).
  • Guide the team to optimize Event Strategy – 20%
    • Translating business priorities and business updates for the team, ensuring capacity to focus on priorities agreed with the CMO.
    • Tradeshows performance: target setting, activations, follow‐up.
    • Help setting up our Owned events concept: Future of Assets & Help get the right participants.
    • Getting roadblocks out of the way (reporting, tooling, collaboration etc.).
  • Team Management – 15%
    • 1:1s with the team (4 FTE) 30 min. per person, per week.
    • 1:1 with CMO 30 min. bi‐weekly.
    • Monthly MRKT meeting 60 min.
    • Weekly MLT meetings 60 min.
  • Budget Management – 5%
    • First approver & monitoring the budget tracker.
    • Tracking budget status per DG budget: events, DG EMEA, DG US.
  • Administrative Work – 10%
    • Email management. 30 min. per day.
    • Prep for QBRs, marketing meetings, other slidedecks, learning goals, keep an eye on Asana DG Hub. 30 min. per month.

8–10 years' experience in B2B marketing with focus on demand generation, ABM 1:few and events. Content strategy and SEO/GEO experience. Proven ability to manage performance‐driven teams under time and capacity constraints. Strong experience in campaign and event optimization and ROI steering. Experience coaching marketers and maintaining delivery discipline. Deep familiarity with HubSpot and performance reporting. Strong budget governance capabilities. Comfort working with AI tools in Demand Gen, Content Strategy and SEO/GEO to increase efficiency and reduce manual workload. Ability to operate with strict prioritization and clear trade‐off decision making. You are a contractor or happy to work a fixed‐term contract.
