Are you ready to be part of the best in the market? As an Ultimo Consultant, you are the link between our key accounts, their business needs, and our EAM software. You are the Ultimo ambassador both on the shop floor and at management level within our customers’ organisations. You help both domestic and international customers elevate their asset management maturity and achieve lasting improvements.

Drawing on your expertise in asset management and maintenance best practices, you act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them to optimise their processes and achieve operational excellence. You lead project teams, coordinating customer and internal resources to deliver solutions on time and within budget. You challenge yourself to uncover the customer’s true needs and translate these into practical solutions within our application, configuring our flexible and powerful tooling to fit each unique situation.

What your day might look like:

  • Setting up maintenance models for a customer’s fleet
  • Advising an oil terminal on optimal asset structures
  • Managing full lifecycle projects independently
  • Collaborating on international projects with cross-functional teams

The way we work has changed dramatically in recent years, and we recognise the importance of flexibility and balance. At Ultimo, you’ll enjoy the freedom to work from home while staying connected with colleagues. We support you in creating a pleasant home office environment and value time spent together at our offices, whether sharing knowledge, solving a customer challenge, or just catching up in our work café. In this role, you’ll typically spend about 20% of your time travelling to customers. To ensure you make a running start, we offer an extensive onboarding programme. You’ll get to know our organisation, take part in in-depth training courses, and work closely with a dedicated buddy who’ll guide you through your first months.

The position entails:

  • Advising on the setup and configuration of our software
  • Advising customers on asset management, maintenance best practices, and process improvements
  • Managing and delivering national and international projects
  • Configuring the software to meet customer requirements
  • Giving presentations and training sessions

You’re an experienced consultant or industry professional who combines technical understanding with strong advisory skills. You’re comfortable engaging with both operational teams and senior stakeholders, and you enjoy translating complex business needs into practical EAM solutions.

You bring:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. in Engineering, Business, IT, or a related field)
  • Several years of experience in asset management, maintenance, or EAM software consulting
  • Proven ability to advise customers on maintenance best practices and process improvement
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, utilities, infrastructure, or logistics
  • Strong project management skills, including delivery to time and budget
  • Familiarity with EAM/ERP/CMMS systems (Ultimo, SAP PM, Maximo, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of databases and data structures
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, clear, respectful, and engaging
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach, with the confidence to challenge assumptions
  • Good command of English is required; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.

In addition, you are in possession of:

  • A bachelor or master
  • Several years of work experience as a consultant
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Experience with project management
  • Good command of English
  • Clear, respectful and honest style of communication.
