We are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our organisation on either contract or permanent. The work can be carried out remotely.

The Role

The person will bring a creative and critical mindset to projects and client operations, managing complex security challenges with a business-focused approach protecting what is most valuable to our clients. The job holder will be assessing risk across business, technology and operations, considering threat intelligence and helping to build the full security view that underpins systems resilience and client confidence. He/she will work on different programmes from governance and manage risk. The CSC will implement security controls within bespoke hardware and software development.

Experience / Knowledge

  • Different products security and knowledge of defence enhancement to reflect secure by design
  • Designing security architecture to support compliance (Assured Capability)
  • Cyber security in support of MAA/CAA certification
  • National/international recognised threat frameworks such as NSA CTF
  • Security standards and processes such as ISO 27001 standards, (NCSC) CAF, Cyber Essentials, NIST and Cyber Essentials/Plus
  • Developing cyber policy and procedures
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Security change management
  • Understanding business continuity resilience and incident response
  • Networks, core infrastructure and systems

Qualifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCP
