HGV Class 1 Driver (Multi-drop)

We’re currently looking to recruit three Class 1 Multi-Drop Drivers to join our prestigious client’s growing team in Wimblington, Cambridgeshire. This is an excellent chance to secure *ongoing, full-time work with consistent hours and a set daily start time of 7:00 AM.*

*Pay rates:*
£14.50 – £16.25 p/h
*Duties:*
* Carry out daily vehicle walk around checks using Pre-Drive App
* Liaise with Traffic office to obtain allocated run
* Deliveries and collections of various palletised goods to and from customer sites with the use of a curtain side Class 1 vehicle
* Communicate any delays of more than 15 minutes per delivery to the traffic office
* Any other duties as reasonably required
*Essential Requirements:*
* Valid UK Driving Licence with CE Class Entitlement
* Valid CPC and Digi Card
* 6 Months\’ commercial driving experience
* Sound knowledge of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations
* Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
*Desirable Requirements:*
* Multi-drop experience, however training will be provided where required
*Hours:*
7:00am start Monday to Friday with an expected shift time of approximately 10-11 hours daily. This may vary depending on the allocated run for the day, but does not include weekends.
