Ultimate Workforce are hiring HGV Class 1 Night drivers for work with a professional and friendly haulier. The role involves a straightforward hub run from North Walsham depot to the TPN hub at Swadlincote with the use of a double-deck trailer.

Shift start time: 18:00 daily with an average shift length of 10-12 hours. Start location: North Walsham depot.

What we offer:

  • Weekly pay
  • Minimum 8 hour pay per shift should the driver be sent home
  • Consistent start times
  • Refer a friend scheme (T&C's apply)

Pay rates:

  • Monday to Friday PAYE - £18 p/h (Holiday Inclusive)
  • Monday to Friday LTD - £20 p/h

Daily Role:

  • Vehicle checks to be completed daily and report any defects accordingly
  • Ensure load(s) are sufficiently secured before transportation
  • Any other duties as reasonably required

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence, DQC Qualification and Digital Tacho Card
  • Experience in class 1 hub runs role
  • Class 1 commercial driving experience
  • Experience with double deck trailers
  • Sound understanding of EU Working Time and Driving Time regulations (Required)
  • Reliability and punctuality is an essential part of this role
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude towards work
