About Ultimate Sevens: Ultimate Sevens is the new, elite global men’s and women’s Rugby Sevens championship and academy product that is set to transform Rugby Sevens for the modern fan and digital-first generation. Launching across Europe late summer 2026, Ultimate Sevens builds on global growth, the rise of women’s sport, and the Olympic spotlight where innovation, inclusion, gamification, and modernised rules are at its core. Ultimate Sevens places both the players and fans at the centre of the action delivering an electrifying competition, creating new opportunities and enhancing the future of the sport worldwide.

Position Summary: The Marketing Manager (FTC) role is a key position in the marketing function and will both lead and support across a number of critical workstreams and projects to make Ultimate Sevens a major success in its launch year, and for years to come. As a rounded marketer with strong experience in campaign management, digital and social, partnerships, reporting and analytics, coupled with live events and fan engagement you will be a collaborative team player, a people person and relationship builder with a can do, will do attitude that thrives in a fun, dynamic start-up environment. This role will play a central part in delivering the go-to-market strategy, building the Ultimate Sevens brand and fanbase, and supporting commercial and revenue growth across the Championship.

  • Campaign and Media Management
    • Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels
    • Work with agencies and partners on media planning, creative delivery and campaign execution
    • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, assets and reporting
    • Support brand launches, major announcements, ticket sales campaigns and broadcast tune-in campaigns
  • Digital Platform – Development and Customer Experience
    • Support the development and optimisation of the Ultimate Sevens website, app and digital touchpoints
    • Work with digital partners to improve customer journeys across discovery, engagement, conversion and retention
    • Support CRM and data capture initiatives to grow the fan database and improve fan communication and personalisation
  • Digital, Brand & Commercial Partnerships
    • Support delivery of marketing activity with brand partners, sponsors and commercial partners
    • Identify opportunities to collaborate with partners on campaigns, content and activations
    • Ensure brand consistency across all partner activity and touchpoints
  • Influencer and Social Marketing
    • Support the development and execution of the social media and influencer strategy
    • Work with influencers, ambassadors, players and content creators to build reach and engagement
    • Help manage content planning, publishing and channel growth across key platforms
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Track and report on marketing performance across campaigns, digital platforms, CRM and social media
    • Support the development of dashboards and reporting frameworks
    • Use insights and data to optimise campaigns and improve marketing effectiveness
  • Additional Areas of Support:

    Required Skills & Experience

    • A minimum of 5 years working in a marketing role across sports, entertainment or lifestyle
    • Proven experience running integrated TTL marketing campaigns
    • Track record of launching data-led marketing, building content ecosystems, and growing diverse fan bases.
    • Expertise in digital media platforms, CRM, brand storytelling, and performance marketing.
    • Experience working with agencies, influencers, talent and partners to drive success
    • Strong commercial acumen and ability to integrate marketing strategy with revenue goals
    • Experience in live events marketing and ticketing
