Transport Administrator Location: Desborough
Salary: £26,400 per annum + £2,000 night shift allowance
Contract: 12-month fixed term

Based in Desborough
Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative support within a busy transport operation.
Ensure all POD and returns processes are completed in line with site procedures.
Book in customer collections and complete all relevant paperwork.
Book in customer deliveries and manage the inbound diary.
Investigate and resolve collection and delivery queries.
Ensure all paperwork is returned for customer deliveries.
Chase outstanding PODs and liaise with hauliers to obtain missing documentation.
Liaise with other depots, customers, hauliers and external contacts.
Compile and maintain accurate lists of outstanding PODs.
Report outstanding PODs on a daily basis.
Maintain accurate transport records and documentation.
Assist with period-end spreadsheets and reporting.
Photocopy, print, organise and maintain paper and electronic records.
Provide accurate data and administrative support to the wider transport team.
Work to deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Support the wider team with additional administration as required.
Requirements Previous experience in a Transport Administrator, Transport Office or Logistics Administration role is essential.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
