Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient vehicle departures.
- Monitor dispatch activity and ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within scheduled times.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams and management to resolve operational issues.
- Allocate work and support the dispatch team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch reports and transport documentation.
- Track shipments and ensure all system records are kept up to date.
- Support the Control Tower team with daily planning and operational administration.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
- Handle incoming calls and emails relating to dispatch and transport queries.
- Deal with real-time operational issues and escalate where necessary.
