Ultimate Recruitment is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our professional team based in Skelmersdale. This is a store delivery role that involves manual handling, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading cages and goods throughout the day. If you're looking for a driving-only position, this role will not be suitable.
Key details:
- Monday to Friday Night shifts, starting between 15:00-19:00
- Weekend shifts available
- 4 on / 4 off or 5 on / 3 off shift patterns (including weekends)
- Store deliveries to retail locations
- Regular manual loading and unloading required
- Full-day driving assessment before starting
- Full-time hours available
- Temp to Perm opportunity
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driving Licence
- Minimum 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Previous store delivery experience is essential
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual loading and unloading throughout the shift
Pay rates:
- Days (04:00-16:00): £18.50 per hour (£20.72 including holiday pay)
- Nights (16:00-04:00): £19.50 per hour (£21.86 including holiday pay)
- Saturday: £20.50 per hour (£22.98 including holiday pay)
- Sunday: £21.50 per hour (£24.10 including holiday pay)
