Job Details Monday Friday Shifts available: 06:00 14:30 10:30 19:00 19:00 03:30 21:30 06:00 Work location: Ryton CV8 3ED Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient vehicle departures.
Monitor dispatch activity and ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within scheduled times.
Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams and management to resolve operational issues.
Allocate work and support the dispatch team to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
Prepare and maintain accurate dispatch reports and transport documentation.
Track shipments and ensure all system records are kept up to date.
Support the Control Tower team with daily planning and operational administration.
Monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
Handle incoming calls and emails relating to dispatch and transport queries.
Deal with real-time operational issues and escalate where necessary.
Provide guidance and support to Dispatch Clerks and other members of the transport team.
Requirements Minimum 1 years experience working within a transport office environment essential .
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is desirable.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Good IT and administration skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
Previous experience within dispatch, transport or logistics is essential.
