Ultimate Languages are hiring a Senior Digital Marketing Team Manager to lead and further strengthen our digital marketing function at a pivotal stage of Ultimate Languages’ growth. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced digital marketing professional who combines strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and strong leadership. You will be taking ownership of a high performing team across multilingual SEO, content, and copywriting, ensuring consistently high quality delivery for clients while actively shaping how the function evolves as the business grows. The role is critical to sustaining the culture we have built intentionally - one based on trust, accountability, and respect, while continuing to deliver results in a fast moving, client facing environment. Over the past year, this approach has enabled Ultimate Languages to double its revenue. Your leadership will be key to maintaining momentum without compromising standards, wellbeing, or values.

This role suits someone who is fully comfortable operating at a senior level: setting direction, managing complexity, making sound decisions under pressure, and acting as a credible partner to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the digital marketing team to deliver high-quality results across SEO, content, and copywriting, ensuring work meets client objectives and business goals.
  • Drive performance and continuous improvement, using data, team feedback and clients’ needs to optimise processes, deliver results and develop new services.
  • Oversee digital marketing execution, including pricing, SEO content optimisation, and copywriting, ensuring consistency and commercial impact.
  • Act as a senior client-facing lead, managing communication with senior stakeholders and representing the team professionally.
  • Build strong working relationships across the business, collaborating with the localisation and other teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Identify risks and challenges early, taking ownership and resolving issues with practical, solution-focused thinking.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful team environment, supporting motivation and wellbeing without compromising on standards or accountability.
  • Stay calm and decisive in high-pressure situations, providing stability and clear direction for the team.
Experience and skills
  • Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing people within a digital marketing or agency environment, with a track record of delivering results.
  • Deep expertise in SEO (strategy, execution, and performance analysis); experience with localisation and multilingual campaigns is a strong plus.
  • Commercial mindset, confident in pricing, margin calculations, and negotiating with clients or partners.
  • Strong client-facing skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders and managing complex communications in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable with occasional international travel for client meetings, presentations, and team collaboration.
  • Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO is essential; experience with social media, paid media, and copywriting is highly desirable.
  • Agency background preferred; experience working across multiple clients, industries, and fast-paced environments is a plus.
  • Industry experience B2B in hospitality, chemical, engineering, or ecommerce is highly valued but not a must.
  • Advanced presentation and reporting skills, including the ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate impact.
  • High emotional intelligence and maturity, with a leadership style based on trust, respect, and accountability.
How you lead (aligned to UL values)
  • We Succeed Together: You prioritise teamwork, collaborate openly, support others, and celebrate shared wins.
  • We Grow Everyday: You own mistakes, treat them as learning opportunities, seek feedback, think before acting, and apply critical judgement in decision‑making.
  • We Make it Happen: You take ownership, act proactively, remain solution‑focused, stay calm under pressure, and follow through on commitments.
