About the Role
We're looking for a mid-level Account Manager Team Lead to own the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of international clients, while leading a team of Digital Project Managers and Project Coordinators who support delivery. You'll be the connective tissue between client goals and the work our delivery teams produce β translating business objectives into clear briefs, keeping projects on time and on budget, and building the kind of trust that turns a single project into a long-term partnership. Alongside client-facing work, you'll set direction and priorities for your delivery team, coach individual team members, and make sure the day-to-day project work is running smoothly. This is a fully remote role, working with remote clients and colleagues, so clear written communication and a proactive, organised approach are essential.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of international client accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators, setting priorities, allocating workload, and supporting their day-to-day delivery.
- Translate client objectives into clear briefs and actionable plans for creative, strategy, and production teams.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scope across multiple concurrent accounts, flagging risks before they become problems.
- Lead regular client calls and status meetings.
- Prepare and present 6 monthly Business Performance Reviews and recommendations to clients.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional services or scope.
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations, Head of Growth and Head of Customer Success to create new services.
- Manage client onboarding, contracts, and renewals in partnership with finance and leadership.
- Navigate cultural and regulatory nuances across different client markets (e.g. compliance, localisation, working norms).
What We're Looking For
- 3β5 years' experience in account management, client services, or project management, ideally within a digital agency or marketing services environment.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team (e.g. Project Managers, Project Coordinators, or similar delivery roles).
- Demonstrated experience managing international or cross-border client relationships.
- Experience in the localisation industry (e.g. translation, transcreation, multilingual content, or LSP account management) is a bonus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Some understanding of digital marketing disciplines (SEO and content) sufficient to speak credibly with clients and internal specialists.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g. SalesForce, SEMRush, WorkFront, SEO Clarity or similar).
- Comfortable working async and collaborating with distributed, remote teams.
- A proactive, detail-oriented, and diplomatic approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with clients in specific regions (e.g. North America, EU, APAC).
- Familiarity with financial/budget tracking and scope-of-work documentation.
- Background in a digital marketing role prior to moving into account management.
What We Offer
- Fully remote role with flexible working hours, structured around client-time-zone overlap.
- The opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of international brands.
- A collaborative, supportive team culture with clear paths for growth into senior account or client-partner roles.
- Competitive salary Β£40K - Β£45K depending on experience and benefits package (details shared during the interview process).
