Our client is a highly successful mutual operating within the mortgage and savings sector. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of a high-potential London territory and build lasting relationships within the intermediary market. We’re looking for a commercially driven relationship-builder with proven experience in bridging or short-term lending who thrives in a field-based environment and has an established broker network across London.

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing mortgage intermediaries and packagers across London and the M25
  • Increase the quality and volume of enquiries and completed applications
  • Identify and win new intermediary relationships to generate consistent monthly business
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting, compliance, and new business teams to ensure smooth case progression
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, networking functions, and awards evenings

Proven Business Development experience within a mortgage lender or mutual organisation

Strong knowledge of bridging finance and/or short-term lending

An established broker network across London and surrounding areas

A successful track record of generating intermediary business

Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

A full UK driving licence.

Basic salary to £70,000, £6,000 annual car allowance

Generous, uncapped bonus
