Our client, a customer-focused financial services organisation, has an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Administration Team Leader. Reporting to the Head of Mortgage Operations, you will be responsible for the efficient management of the Mortgage Administration function. This includes the processing and administration of new mortgage business and the ongoing post-completion management of the mortgage portfolio. The role is hybrid with a requirement to be in the office at least 3 days each week, ideally more in the first 6 months.

Duties:

  • Leading, managing and motivating the Mortgage Administration team, allocating and monitoring daily workloads to ensure service levels and customer outcomes are achieved.
  • Delivering and overseeing a frictionless post-completion and ongoing administration journey for customers.
  • Approving holidays, conducting appraisals and managing Personal Development Plans.
  • Authorising large payments and overseeing the release of mortgage funds.
  • Undertaking hands-on administrative duties when required to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Recent, demonstrable and relevant experience in a team leadership role and proven experience with mortgage products.
  • Proven experience of working cross-functionally and collaboratively.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
