Our client is a BTL specialist, offering a wide portfolio of BTL mortgages to their customers. They have a fantastic opportunity for an experience, BTL specialist to join them as an Underwriting Manager. In this role, you will manage the end to end mortgage processing and underwriting teams, ensuring all loans are written within the company’s risk appetite, alongside providing a best of class service to intermediary partners and borrowers. Their head office is based in Milton Keynes, and they operate a hybrid working policy. They ask for 2 days based at their head office, which must be a Monday and Thursday, then 3 days working remotely. Duties of the Underwriting Manager will include: Lead, manage and develop the mortgage processing teams to deliver an excellent customer journey. Act as a senior underwriter, approving Buy to Let loans within mandate and carrying out 2nd case reviews on loans underwritten by the team.
