Do you want to work for a vibrant company who have drive and ambition but put their employees at the heart of what they do? Our client is exactly that company. They believe in working hard to achieve their goals, but they want their staff to have fun and a work life balance.
They are looking for an Underwriter to join a growing team of 7 so far. They need experienced Buy to Let Underwriters, but this could just be part of your skill set as there is a definite opportunity to expand into other areas in the future. They have two premises; one in Milton Keynes and another in Birmingham and are happy with this role being based in either location.
The primary function of this role is to assess and underwrite mortgage applications to ensure all lending complies with the company’s credit risk policy. Additionally, work with the processing team to assist in the preparation of case files as well as assisting our intermediary partners by discussing potential new applications.
If you want to join this exciting company, you will have:
- A current or recent Underwriting Mandate
- Good knowledge of Buy to Let lending (to include Limited Company, HMO and Multi lets)
- A good understanding of the mortgage process
- Knowledge of working under pressure to tight deadlines
