Governance & Executive Support – Nottinghamshire – 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm. 2–3 days per week on-site. Salary up to £34,800 DOE + excellent benefits.
Our client is a highly respected and values-driven financial services organisation. They are now recruiting for a Governance & Executive Support to join the team, reporting to the Governance & Executive Support Manager. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and effective running of Board, Management Committee, and executive activities across the organisation.
This position is ideal for someone highly organised, discreet, and confident working at senior level. The role combines governance and company secretarial support with executive and administrative assistance, offering variety, responsibility, and exposure to key decision-making forums.
Key responsibilities- Coordinate the preparation and timely distribution of Board and Management Committee papers, including agendas and combined packs.
- Attend Board meetings to take minutes and track actions post-meeting, manage meeting room bookings.
- Act as a key point of contact for Board Directors, External Trustees, and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Assist with the Annual Report & Accounts and AGM preparations.
- Provide diary and inbox management for the Finance Director, including meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
- Support Executives with the preparation of reports & presentations.
- Provide support with expenses & audit actions, coordinate logistics for events.
- Support annual HR-related administrative requirements for the Board, Senior Leadership Team, and wider organisation.
- Proven experience producing minutes for Board or Management Committee meetings.
- Strong experience providing executive-level support, including diary and inbox management.
- Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
