Ultimate Banking are delighted to be working with our customer focussed, financial services client as they seek a Mortgage Services Officer to join their team. The role plays a key part in supporting the mortgage operations function, and you will be responsible for managing mortgage applications from offer to completion, alongside supporting existing customers throughout the full lifecycle of their mortgage. You will be providing high quality service to brokers, packagers and direct customers and would suit an individual who excels at delivering exceptional customer care and thrives in a process driven environment.
Duties will include:
- Taking ownership of processing mortgage completions, liaising with solicitors and customers to ensure every case progresses smoothly and in line with agreed SLAs.
- Support existing Members by handling account changes, redemption requests and general mortgage servicing queries throughout the life of their mortgage.
- Producing redemption statements and redeeming mortgages on receipt of funds.
- Accurately keying and maintaining information across core systems and document repositories.
- Providing Packagers, Brokers and direct customers with high-quality service, keeping them informed at every stage of the process.
The successful individual will possess:
- Previous mortgage experience, ideally with completions.
- Previous customer service/relationship building experience.
- CeMap qualified, or the willingness to complete within an agreed timescale.
Our client offers a hybrid approach to the working week; if successful, for the training period (circa 3 months), you will be required to be fully office based. Once completed, the hybrid model is a minimum of 2 days per week based at head office and 3 working remotely. Regarding the salary range, this is dependent on holding the CeMap qualification. If you already have completed CeMap (1,2,3), they can offer up to £31,080. If you don’t hold the qualification, our client will support and fund you to gain this (within 12 months) and the remuneration offered will be up to £28,500.
