Job Description
Senior Planning Director
London | Hybrid | £65,000 – £70,000
Some agencies follow the same playbook. Others exist to challenge it. This business belongs firmly in the second camp. Over the past few years, they’ve grown at pace, building a reputation as one of the most progressive, diverse, and ambitious players in the industry. Their teams combine creativity with rigour, helping global brands rethink how they show up in culture and connect with consumers.
One of their flagship international clients, a household name in entertainment and play, has expanded its scope significantly, creating the need for a new Senior Planning Director. This role sits at the heart of strategy and planning, leading the way in how campaigns are designed, structured, and delivered across both the UK and wider European markets.
This isn’t about simply overseeing activity. It’s about bringing planning excellence to the table, setting the framework for how multi-channel strategies come together, and ensuring that every campaign makes a measurable impact. You’ll take the lead in shaping responses to briefs, developing media strategies that balance short-term activation with long-term brand growth, and working closely with the client to translate business challenges into smart, actionable plans.
Alongside the planning, you’ll be a senior client partner. You’ll guide a team of four, providing direction, support, and mentorship, while also building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. You’ll need to keep a sharp focus on process, efficiency, and detail, while at the same time inspiring your team to push for creativity and innovation.
To succeed, you’ll already be an established Account Director or Senior Planner, with at least two years’ experience at that level. You’ll have deep knowledge of digital-first media, backed by confidence across offline channels, and you’ll be comfortable developing integrated strategies that span video, gaming, and beyond. You’ll combine commercial awareness with strong leadership and the ability to translate complexity into clarity.
In return, you’ll be joining an agency that balances entrepreneurial energy with the resources of a global network. The culture is collaborative, inclusive, and ambitious, with benefits designed to support both your professional and personal wellbeing, from flexible leave and early finish Fridays to comprehensive health cover, wellbeing programmes, and generous parental policies.
If you’re ready to take the lead on planning for one of the world’s most recognised consumer brands, shaping strategy across the UK and Europe, we’d love to connect.
