Leveraging technology and creative solutions, my client connects brands with their target audience in environmentally contextually relevant environments on social channels such as YouTube. Due to growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Manager to join our team.
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Agency Account Director who can drive new revenue growth through the acquisition of new client campaigns and the strategic management of existing accounts. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the video ad tech landscape, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to build and nurture relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- New Business / Ad Sales – Prospect and identify new RFPs for ad campaigns and ad spend through media agencies and brands direct for video campaigns
- Sales Reporting and Forecasting - Accurate upward management and reporting of business forecasting and sales pipeline
- Pitching and Negotiation – Handling all aspects of the sales business process of driving the negotiations of deals and pitching concepts and appropriate deals to media agencies and clients, securing them via watertight sales processes, and closing them into secured business
- Presenting - Able to hold your own in agency and client settings, presenting one-on-one to both small groups and also at larger departmental meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years sales experience gained at an AdTech or premium media owner or digital publisher, particularly in the CTV / Video Space
- Strong understanding of video advertising, digital advertising, programmatic advertising, ad exchanges, and the general media landscape
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
- Team player, able to collaborate with team members of all seniority
