We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Short Form Social Video to join our client’s award-winning team. As a leader in factual content, our client is expanding its impact across platforms through bold, engaging short-form video. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the short-form landscape to drive editorial, creative, and monetisation success.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy for short-form video growth across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc, and emerging platforms. You’ll lead the strategy and creative vision while working with internal teams and key stakeholders to deliver platform-specific content opportunities that resonate with audiences, align with brand values, and help scale subscriber bases and followers.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in short-form content creation, scaling and building communities across IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, possess a strong editorial voice, and have a deep understanding of audience growth, platform trends, and monetisation. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across production, editorial, marketing, and commercial teams, as well as forge key partnerships with platforms and external collaborators.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Lead editorial and creative strategy for short-form video across platforms through the lens of audience and revenue growth
- Work cross-functionally with editorial leads, creative teams, product, channel management, and other internal stakeholders
- Drive audience growth and platform engagement
- Commercial acumen with an eye on scaling audiences and also driving new revenue streams
- Analyse data points and performance metrics to refine strategy
- Collaborate with commercial leads to identify monetisation opportunities and platform partnerships, as well as branded content opportunities
- The ideal candidate will have at least three to five years of experience in a senior management or lead position
