A new wave of infrastructure businesses is beginning to ask a difficult question: what is the environmental cost of the cloud & of course, AI? One fast growing start up has built its entire mission around answering it.
Combining deep technical expertise with a passion for sustainability, the team is developing tools that help organisations measure, understand, and reduce the carbon impact of cloud computing, turning complex emissions data into meaningful business action.
Now entering a critical phase of growth, they’re hiring their first Founding Growth Marketer. This is not a role built around maintaining existing channels or inheriting a playbook. It’s an opportunity to build the engine from scratch. Working closely with the founders and wider commercial team, you’ll shape the narrative, define the category, and create the systems that drive awareness, acquisition, and pipeline growth across the full customer journey.
You’ll lead a content first growth strategy spanning SEO, thought leadership, partnerships, paid media, and community engagement, while helping position GreenOps as a growing category within enterprise technology. From scaling educational initiatives and launching campaigns to refining messaging and experimenting across channels, you’ll play a central role in helping businesses understand the commercial value of cloud sustainability.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from a B2B SaaS or early stage environment, with a strong instinct for storytelling, audience building, and commercial growth. You’ll be someone who can simplify complex ideas, thrive in ambiguity, and combine strategic thinking with hands on execution. Curiosity, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial mindset will be just as important as technical marketing expertise.
Alongside flexible hybrid working, share options, global remote working allowance, and exposure to the worlds of cloud infrastructure, FinOps, and sustainability, this is a chance to join a business at pivotal point of its journey, and help define what growth looks like.
