A rare opportunity for a senior finance leader to join one of the UK’s most dynamic and fast-growing independent digital agency groups, operating at the intersection of social, creative, performance and commerce. My client is on the M&A trail and acquiring businesses that give them new capabilities and so it’s an ever-evolving business.
This is a strategic and hands-on role for a Finance Director or Group Financial Controller who thrives in a creative, data-driven environment. You’ll take ownership of the financial heartbeat of a multi-brand agency collective that’s redefining what it means to connect content, media and technology.
The focus for this role is around forecasting and reporting and we’re looking for an ACA / ACCA accredited seasoned and experienced finance leader who is going to bring rigour, drive and strong controls to the operations.
The group combines deep specialisms across paid media, social, influencer marketing, and ecommerce, underpinned by its own high-reach digital media network delivering billions of views every month for some of the world’s boldest brands. As part of a close-knit leadership team, you’ll help steer the business through its next growth phase — scaling operations, strengthening financial controls and ensuring commercial decisions are grounded in insight.
What you’ll do:
- Lead financial operations across multiple agency brands, setting the standard for accuracy, governance and performance.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial planning aligned with business strategy.
- Partner with the CFO and senior C-Suite leadership to shape commercial decisions and improve profitability.
- Mentor and develop members of the finance team.
- Drive reporting and forecasting, work with the business to set and agree cadences that drive operational efficiencies and allow effective and accurate visibility of the financial roadmap ahead of the business.
- Evolve financial systems and processes to support scalability, efficiency and transparency across the group.
- Deliver clear financial reporting that empowers stakeholders to act decisively.
Who you are:
- You’ll be a qualified (ACA / ACCA) senior finance professional with a track record in creative or digital agencies, experienced in fast-growth environments where structure, collaboration and agility are key.
- You combine commercial acumen with people leadership and thrive on bringing clarity to complexity.
- You will have presided over a P&L in the hundreds of millions and a multi-service service-line agency offering.
- You will be used to preparing reports for PLCs or PE environments.
- We will only be considering candidates who have worked in media / creative / or marketing agency environments.
If you’re a finance leader ready to shape the financial future of a modern media group, this is your chance to make a measurable impact in one of the industry’s most progressive environments.
