Driving and delivering to customers. Loading and unloading. FLT counterbalance loading – licence required. Experience in strapping loads on to a flat bed would be essential. Helping around the factory when not delivering. 50 % of the work will be delivering to customers and 50 % helping around the factory. Age group 30 plus. Qualification Full UK Driving Licence. PPE required Own Safety shoes and overalls. All other PPE Provided. Hours of work Monday to Friday Generally 39 hours per week Plus overtime paid at time and half after 39 hours. starting at 7.30am However on some occasions starting at 5.30 for a drop in London maybe required. This will be explained upon interview. Rates of pay £13.68 inclusive of Holiday pay during trial period. Core Duties: Order Preparation: Picking, packing, and labeling items for dispatch. Driving deliveries to our suppliers. Shipment Coordination: Booking shipments with couriers, generating necessary documentation (labels, invoices, etc.). Inventory Management: Ensuring accurate stock handling and inventory control within the dispatch area. Quality Control: Checking for damaged or missing items and ensuring products meet quality standards. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of dispatched goods, including paperwork and electronic data. Safety and Compliance: Adhering to health and safety procedures and company policies. Equipment Operation: Using equipment such as forklifts, rola-trucks, and basketeer required). Housekeeping: Maintaining a clean. Loading vehicles and strapping up for safety..
