WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE WITH COUNTERBALANCE FLT LICENSE

Pay Rate: £26,649.63 (£24,869.63 basic + £1,780 shift allowance). Also potential to earn annual bonus of £1,300.

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time).

Shift patterns: Rotational day shift pattern 0600-1400 / 1000-1800 hours.

Location: Warrington - WA4 4SN.

This role has an out-of-hours “on call rota” – one week in every four. An extra payment of £157.50 is paid for each week you are on call, plus additional payments made if you are called out to site.

Note: A drug & alcohol screen will be part of the recruitment process for this role. Counterbalance FLT license is essential.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Undertake manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
  • Be responsible for picking and packing specified items from storage and preparing them for shipment.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures.
  • Counterbalance FLT license is essential.
  • Fleet experience would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) experience.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Own transport.
