Location: Derby

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to transport and operational queries, ensuring timely resolution at all times.
  • Provide administrative support across multiple functions through cross‑training to ensure effective team cover and continuity.
  • Maintain accurate reporting standards and communicate key information clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Update and manage internal records using company systems and administrative tools.
  • Work closely with Operations and Transport Teams to support daily activities and ensure smooth coordination.
  • Monitor daily shift workloads and system reports, escalating issues appropriately when required.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel as a minimum requirement.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work independently.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to work.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Previous experience working within a busy office environment.
  • Experience working within or alongside Logistics or Transport operations.
