DHL, an award‑winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
What does the role entail?
- Work pattern Monday to Friday - start times between 01:00-04:00.
- Mixture of retail store deliveries, trunking, salvage collection and shunting as required.
- Manual work using electric pump trucks or electric pallet trucks to complete deliveries.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
What do we need from you?
- You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Have a minimum of 1 year commercial 'on the road' LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) driving experience.
- Have previous store delivery experience using double deck trailers.
- Live locally to Stoke on Trent ST4 4EX.
