Key Responsibilities
- Provide pragmatic, risk-based employment law advice to HR, leadership, and business stakeholders across a wide range of topics.
- Support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and restructuring processes.
- Advise on TUPE matters, including due diligence and employee consultation processes.
- Manage employment disputes and oversee employment tribunal cases, including coordination with external counsel.
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and related documentation.
- Contribute to the employment law aspects of commercial agreements, assessing legal risks and business impact.
- Deliver employment law training to HR and management, both virtually and in person.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a key point of contact for employment law matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal governance, and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, HR, Procurement, and Data Protection.
Your Profile
- Qualified solicitor in the UK with a minimum of 4 years’ employment law experience (in‑house or private practice).
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
- Strong negotiation and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and operate autonomously.

- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
