As a Field Service Engineer, you will embark on a dynamic journey where no two days are the same. You’ll immerse yourself in a diverse array of tasks, navigating our extensive lineup of products – from agile pallet trucks to robust counterbalance trucks, and cutting‑edge very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks to innovative automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency.
- Perform preventative maintenance and conduct essential check‑ups for our fleet.
- Travel to various customer locations, applying expertise to service Linde forklifts and other state‑of‑the‑art material handling equipment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional support.
- Work autonomously or as part of a team, managing on‑site troubleshooting and repair.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter, or plant technician.
- Knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Comfortable using IT equipment for accurate record keeping and ordering.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
