Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pragmatic, risk-based employment law advice to HR, leadership, and business stakeholders across a wide range of topics.
  • Support employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, and restructuring processes.
  • Advise on TUPE matters, including due diligence and employee consultation processes.
  • Manage employment disputes and oversee employment tribunal cases, including coordination with external counsel.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and related documentation.
  • Contribute to the employment law aspects of commercial agreements, assessing legal risks and business impact.
  • Deliver employment law training to HR and management, both virtually and in person.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and act as a key point of contact for employment law matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, internal governance, and company standards.

Your Profile

  • Qualified solicitor in the UK with a minimum of 4 years’ employment law experience (in‑house or private practice).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage complex matters independently and provide clear, pragmatic advice.
  • Strong negotiation and problem‑solving capabilities.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
