We are now looking for an Inbound Transport Controller to join our operations team and manage the effective coordination of inbound deliveries.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Book and coordinate all inbound transport movements in line with operational requirements
- Manage carrier and supplier communications to ensure delivery schedules are met
- Monitor inbound performance, resolving delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation, site standards, and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records and update transport management systems
- Work closely with warehouse, inventory, and planning teams to align inbound flow
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and right‑first‑time delivery
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or supply chain environment - desirable
- Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders
- Good IT skills
