The role is for an EHS controller to join the Transport & Logistics Team. Responsibilities include supporting local operational management to ensure compliance, investigating work‑related incidents, collaborating with the central EHS team, maintaining statutory records, and providing EHS support during plant introductions.

How you will contribute to the team:

  • Implement Airbus EHS policies, maintain the local risk register, and develop risk‑reduction and emergency plans.
  • Lead accident investigations and root cause analyses, monitor action progress, and track improvement initiatives.
  • Report to and cooperate with the central EHS team, compile statutory records, local performance data, and indicators.
  • Produce and support local procedures, method statements, and systems, ensuring alignment with EHS formats.
  • Facilitate EHS communication through local management, brief TU Safety Representatives, and engage partners.
  • Organise monthly EHS review meetings, central steering groups, deliver Toolbox Talk training, and act as the local point of contact for EHS issues.

About you:

  • Completion of a NEBOSH Health & Safety certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in an environmental health and safety role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidance and best practice.
  • Proven record of working within formal EHS management systems (ISO14001, etc.), including risk assessments, SOPs and accident investigations.
