A Customer Business Planner at L'Oréal is a hybrid role that sits between commercial and supply chain, aiming to develop an accurate customer forecast and drive customer conversations. The role focuses on accelerating collaboration internally and externally to challenge and strategize business plans while representing the customer's voice.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a L'Oréal Customer Business Planner, you sit at the heart of the commercial operations team. Your role is pivotal in managing the forecast processes within your account, providing key stakeholders visibility of performance trends, opportunities, and risks surrounding business performance. Your role is diverse, engaging with many stakeholders daily; you may start your day identifying key sales trends with your NAMs, attend a strategic forecast review meeting with your retailer to discuss promotional plans, and align on your collaborative forecast for the coming months. You will also communicate with the supply chain and marketing teams, sharing insights on product performance and news surrounding NPD or promotional performance, while ensuring strong service for your retailer. You will conclude your day discussing insights on the forecast with key finance and senior commercial stakeholders, presenting your views and helping shape the final turnover call made to Paris by the division’s senior leadership teams. It is a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding role that embodies L'Oréal's commitment to beauty and customer satisfaction.
