We're now looking for a Class 2 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- Manual handling of customer products
- 1‑2 store deliveries delivering to the rear of the store using a tail lift and manual pump truck
- Collecting Salvage to return to site
- 12 hours approximately per day
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience but not essential
- Are polite and friendly and have a can do attitude
- Are confident manoeuvring in a tight yard
