An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join our successful Regional Financial Lines team at Allianz in Bristol, where you will contribute to building a best-in-industry underwriting function. You will play a key role in driving profitable growth, developing broker relationships, and delivering excellent customer outcomes in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Location: This role is based in one of our UK offices, please note that this is a hybrid working role with the expectation that you attend the office 40% of your time.
Salary Information: Pay: Circa £45,000 per year. This is based on experience, skills, and location and forms part of our total rewards package.
About You- Underwrite and price new and renewal Financial Lines risks, ensuring profitability and compliance.
- Manage broker relationships through regular engagement and broker visits.
- Analyse claims data and market trends to inform underwriting decisions.
- Chase and secure new business opportunities to support growth targets.
- Process renewals and mid-term adjustments in line with service standards.
- Issue policy documentation to brokers, ensuring adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to day-to-day broker queries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with colleagues across underwriting, claims, and other departments to deliver business objectives.
- Contribute to implementing bespoke schemes and underwriting strategies.
- Support performance targets through strong trading and negotiation practices.
- Experience underwriting new business, with strong trading and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build, develop, and maintain successful broker relationships.
- Confident decision-making within delegated authority, with appropriate referral handling.
- Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities to drive profitable growth.
