At OMNIA Training, we’ve brought together some of the UK’s most innovative defence training organisations into a single consortium to deliver one powerful mission: to transform the British Army’s training system and create the best‑trained Army in the world. OMNIA Training will redefine the British Army’s collective training, standing up as the Army’s Strategic Training Partner. To do that, we are looking for the best and brightest minds from across the UK.
The HR lead will provide front‑line HR advice and management support on people matters to Directors, Managers and Staff. You will assist the business in ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and ensure the development and maintenance of UK HR policies and procedures in line with employment law and good practice.
What Qualifications You Should Have

- Identify training and development needs
- Policy Development & Compliance
- Create and update HR policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal standards
- Manage audits and risk assessments related to HR practices
- HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee data systems and maintain data integrity
- Manage benefits and compensation structures
- Monitor HR metrics and generate reports for stakeholders
Skills
- CIPD qualified (level 5) with at least 2 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law & HR best practices
- Ability to influence managers and senior leaders about people issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Skilled in conflict resolution and negotiation
