We're now looking for an HGV yard shunter to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Yard shunting on site
- Work in line with company health and safety requirements
- Follow all policies and procedures/training
- Maintain contact with transport team and report issues or defects with lorries
- Compliance with EU driving legislation
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Valid C+E class one licence
- Valid CPC
- One year's experience with class one
- Able to follow instructions verbally and written
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Able to cope with the physicality of the role, need to be fit and able
