Shift patterns: 17.00pm until 2.00am

We're now looking for an HGV yard shunter to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Yard shunting on site
  • Work in line with company health and safety requirements
  • Follow all policies and procedures/training
  • Maintain contact with transport team and report issues or defects with lorries
  • Compliance with EU driving legislation

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Valid C+E class one licence
  • Valid CPC
  • One year's experience with class one
  • Able to follow instructions verbally and written
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • Able to cope with the physicality of the role, need to be fit and able
