Fragrance Program Manager – Port Sunlight R&D Work Level: 2A
Job Purpose Act as the Program Manager for the Port Sunlight Hub within Unilever Fragrance House, coordinating all R&D activities to ensure timely, high‑quality fragrance development and successful submission readiness.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the fragrance creation programme, ensuring deliverables are met on time and in full.
Utilise project management tools and best practices to update global stakeholders across business groups and the central UFH team.
Communicate project timelines, constraints, and progress to the UFH leadership team and CTI team.
Manage the OTIF delivery of samples for consumer testing.
Resolve issues that arise when working across multiple business groups and categories.
Adopt new digital tools and data‑management approaches to speed delivery, enhance risk‑based decision making, and deliver consumer insights.
Develop a culture of cross‑functional collaboration and shared deliverables, maximizing team effectiveness.
Manage 2–3 junior team members, defining their work plans and guiding professional development.
Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering field.
Experience in project management and leading complex or global projects.
Formulation and/or fragrance development project experience.
Proven track record of delivery in challenging circumstances.
Strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Data‑management skills and experience with digital tracking tools.
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work across cultures, business backgrounds, and time zones.
