Responsibilities:
- Following guided recipes, prepare and deliver cookery activities to children.
- Encourage participation and development.
- Take on a pastoral role as a group leader on camp.
- Act as a point of contact for parents.
Qualifications:
- Qualified, or working towards relevant qualifications, in nutrition, cookery or food technology or a self-taught foodie with the passion to get children excited about cookery.
- Experience of working with children.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
- Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience/qualifications in teaching food technology.
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification.
Hours and Benefits:
- Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm (except on Mondays when you will be expected to start at 8am to set up for the week. Overtime for this will be paid).
- Paid pre-camp training programme to prepare you to be an Ultimate staff member.
