The Ultimate Performance Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of our Ultimate Performance programme while ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. We seek enthusiastic, experienced Performing Arts teachers or professionals with a Drama school/University degree to help us inspire children every day. The role involves delivering outstanding performing arts to small groups of 7‑12 year‑olds through musical theatre workshops, and motivating and supporting Performance Instructors to collaboratively deliver fun and exciting group sessions. You will ensure successful execution of all policies and procedures, liaising with parents, school representatives and Central Office where necessary. In addition to leading performing sessions, staff will contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional and social care offered by the company. A Camp Manager will be on-site to provide support on care and parent issues.
Duties and Responsibilities
- With full training of the programme provided, deliver excellent, energetic coaching sessions where all children can develop skills, be challenged and have fun.
- Show the ability to develop and progress sessions for varying ages and abilities, providing challenging content in a safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children and their parents/guardians where required.
- Analyse performance and suggest areas of improvement.
- Supervise and engage with the children outside of session times.
- Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
- Show high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, acting as a suitable role model for the children.

About You
- Qualified or working towards relevant qualifications in Performing Arts or Musical Theatre.
- Enthusiastic, energetic individual with experience working with children.
- Passionate about helping young people develop performance skills and able to tailor delivery and structure to age and ability.
- Excellent communicator with strong face‑to‑face customer‑service skills, confident in talking to parents and school staff.
- Love for the arts and looking for a rewarding, fun holiday job with potential for career development in teaching or childcare.
- Hold or willing to obtain a Paediatric First Aid (6‑hour or 12‑hour) qualification.
- Experience or professional qualifications (Drama school/University degree) in Performing Arts or Musical Theatre.
