The Details:
- Contract: Seasonal holiday work available in Easter, Summer and other half term holidays.
- Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm weekdays. Full time or part time roles available and additional hours available for staff that hold a paediatric first aid qualification (usually 8am – 6pm).
Summary of Position:
- Ensure the welfare and safety of the children.
- Deliver outstanding, structured activities (sports, arts, play) to the Early Years children, our Ultimate Activity Juniors.
- Working alongside your Early Years Leader, ensure activities follow the EYFS requirements for learning and development, with an emphasis on participation.
- Take on a pastoral role as a key contact for the 4 and 5 year olds on camp, providing high quality care.
About You
Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working with children and delivering activities.
- Passionate about developing children through play and activity.
- Good organisation and communication skills.
- A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
- Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working with Early Years aged children, delivering the EYFS.
- Qualified to Level 2 in childcare or Early Years or working towards a degree level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. Primary Education or Early Years).
- Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification.
