Summary of Position
The Ultimate Art Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of our Ultimate Art programme, whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Art & Design teachers or professionals qualifications (Art school/University degree) to help us create lifelong memories for the children in your care. In return, we provide training and support for all individuals and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of working in a childcare setting.
The role of the Ultimate Art Leader is to deliver outstanding art projects to small groups of 8 to 14 year-olds. You will take inspiration from the work of well-known artists and guide the children through different art projects using a range of techniques, tools and skills to create mini masterpieces. You will be responsible for motivating and delivering fun and exciting workshops and inspiring our next generation of artists!
You will ensure successful execution of all policies and procedures, liaising with parents, school representatives and Central Office where necessary. As well as leading art sessions, staff will contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional, and social care offered by the Ultimate Activity Company. There will be a Camp Manager on-site to provide support on care and parent issues.
With full training of the programme provided:
Deliver excellent and energetic sessions where all children can develop their skills, be challenged and have fun.
Provide challenging content in a safe learning environment.
Communicate effectively with children.
Analyse performance and suggest areas of improvement.
Supervise and engage with the children outside of session times.
Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.

About You
An enthusiastic, energetic individual, who has experience working with children.
Passionate about helping young people develop their Art & Design skills, able to tailor delivery and structure according to age and ability, adapting on the day.
Excellent communicator, with strong face-to-face customer service skills. Candidates must be confident in their ability to talk to parents and host school staff.
Someone with a love for the art, looking for a hugely rewarding and fun job in the holidays, looking to further their career in teaching or childcare.
Experience or professional qualifications (School/University degree) in Art & Design.
Hold a Paediatric First Aid (6 hour or 12 hour) qualification or be willing to gain one through the Ultimate Activity Company.
