The Ultimate Performance Leader is responsible for the successful delivery of our Ultimate Performance programme, whilst ensuring the welfare and safety of the children on camp is maintained at all times. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Performing Arts teachers or professionals with qualifications (Drama school/University degree) to help us follow through on our commitment: Inspire Children Every Day.
Following scripts, choreography and music, the role of the Ultimate Performance Leader is to deliver outstanding performing arts to small groups of 7 to 12 year-olds, through a melody of musicals, showcasing their talents! You will be responsible for managing, motivating and supporting your Performance Instructors to collaboratively deliver fun and exciting group Musical Theatre workshops and inspire the next generation. You will ensure successful execution of all policies and procedures, liaising with parents, school representatives and Central Office where necessary. As well as leading performing sessions, staff will contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional, and social care offered by the Ultimate Activity Company. There will be a Camp Manager on-site to provide support on care and parent issues.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent, energetic coaching sessions where all children can develop their skills, be challenged and have fun.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and progress sessions for varying ages and abilities.
- Provide challenging content in a safe learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with children and their parents/guardians if required.
- Analyse performance and suggest areas of improvement.
- Supervise and engage with the children outside of session times.
- Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
- Show high levels of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism, acting as a suitable role model for the children.
