Summary of Position

The role of an Activity Instructor is to ensure the welfare and safety of the children on camp and to deliver outstanding, structured activities. Using supporting resources, you will be expected to deliver a range of structured activities including sports, arts and crafts, and games with an emphasis on participation, care and development. In return, we provide training and support for all individuals and the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge of working in a childcare setting. As well as leading sessions, staff contribute to the high standard of physical, emotional and social care offered by Ultimate Activity Camps. Your pastoral role focuses on maintaining welfare and providing high‑quality care.

Contract Details

Seasonal holiday work available: Easter, Summer, and Half‑Term holidays. Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm weekdays. Full time or part time roles available. Additional hours available for staff holding a paediatric first‑aid qualification (usually 8 am – 6 pm).

  • Deliver structured activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and games for ages 6‑14.
  • Lead sessions and manage a group of children as a pastoral leader.
  • Maintain high standards of physical, emotional, and social care.
