Are you passionate about building scalable data platforms that power real business decisions? We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to help design, build, and optimise modern data infrastructure that supports our growing data-driven initiatives.
In this role, you will play a key part in evolving our data platform using modern cloud technologies, ensuring high-quality, reliable data is accessible across the organisation.
What you will be doing:- Designing and building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
- Optimising and evolving our data warehouse architecture for performance and scalability
- Modernising legacy data pipelines and transforming manual processes into automated workflows
- Implementing data governance frameworks, including quality, lineage, and security standards
- Developing robust data models aligned with analytics and BI needs
- Embedding best practices in CI/CD, DevOps for data, testing, and monitoring
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to turn requirements into impactful technical solutions
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to fellow data engineers
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proven experience designing data architectures and data models
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts and large-scale data platforms
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data governance, quality, and security frameworks
- A proactive problem solver who thrives on building efficient, scalable solutions
