In this role, you will play a key part in evolving our data platform using modern cloud technologies, ensuring high-quality, reliable data is accessible across the organisation.

What you will be doing:
  • Designing and building scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
  • Optimising and evolving our data warehouse architecture for performance and scalability
  • Modernising legacy data pipelines and transforming manual processes into automated workflows
  • Implementing data governance frameworks, including quality, lineage, and security standards
  • Developing robust data models aligned with analytics and BI needs
  • Embedding best practices in CI/CD, DevOps for data, testing, and monitoring
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to turn requirements into impactful technical solutions
  • Providing technical leadership and mentorship to fellow data engineers
What we are looking for:
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Proven experience designing data architectures and data models
  • Deep knowledge of data warehousing concepts and large-scale data platforms
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
