THE ROLE
The post holder will manage and lead a dedicated technical team with responsibility for a range of technical services, including the development of the team members within the Faculty and Schools of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Psychology and Sport. They will introduce new scientific and technical methods to enhance service provision and to lead and manage the established work of the team(s) providing ongoing technical support to established and future teaching and research activity within their department/area.
ABOUT YOU
- Educated to degree level or equivalent level qualification, in a technical or science-related discipline.
- Provision of technical service in a scientific/laboratory/clinical area to include development, operation, and modification of sophisticated scientific systems, clinics or laboratories, incorporating the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment/systems.
