THE ROLE

The postholder will provide a leading role in the technical development and support of Ulster's Banner Student Record Information System (SRIS) and related student systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact within the university and the postholder will work with significant autonomy and responsibility for devolved functions, including identifying emerging technologies and service enhancements.

ABOUT YOU

The postholder will be required to have:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in an Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline OR
  • Equivalent relevant experience and an appropriate professional qualification.

A technical background with proven experience of modern software development, including coding, testing, deployment, change management and governance of complex code.
