Role
The postholder will cover the teaching of Sociology in the School of Applied Social and Policy Sciences. The person appointed must have enthusiasm for both teaching and research, and be willing to contribute to new developments.
Qualifications
- PhD in Sociology or a closely related subject.
- First‑class or upper second‑class honours degree, or a Master’s in Sociology or a closely related subject.
- Experience of co‑ordinating, teaching and assessing Sociology on a range of modules at university level.
- Experience of curriculum development, course management and the administration of academic courses, along with a willingness to become a programme director.
