Responsibilities

  • The post holder will provide a comprehensive and professional support service to the SPEAR Centre and leadership team.
  • They will be the first point of contact for all Northern Ireland enquiries on SPEAR processes, explaining processes and procedures at Ulster\’s hub.
  • They will be involved in undertaking project work, analysis, and independent planning under three broad headings: Research, Innovation and Strategic Engagement.

About You / Qualifications

  • A good standard of numeracy and literacy, evidenced by qualifications or work-related activities.
  • Experience of supporting at least two of the following areas: quality assurance, internal auditing, inspections by funding bodies, or pursuit of excellence in research and innovation activity.
  • Experience of extraction and input of data within management information systems/databases, as well as drafting routine correspondence, papers, reports and spreadsheets, and preparation and formatting of documents across different desktop and IT office applications.
