- ABOUT US - We are a university with a national and international reputation for excellence, innovation and regional engagement, making a major contribution to the economic, social and cultural development of Northern Ireland. - THE ROLE - The postholder will be a full-time, dedicated Support Assistant for the EU Coastal Monitoring and Adaptation Planning (CMAP) project, responsible for providing administrative support and assisting the Project Coordinator in delivering all contractual responsibilities to the funding body. CMAP is a €9.6M cross-border project, led by Ulster University, and supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The project will help create sustainable adaptation to the threats posed by climate change and provide decision-makers and stakeholders at the coast with information on the nature of coastal change. The University reserves the right to extend the waiting list across the University if required for certain posts.

- ABOUT YOU - The postholder will be required to have:

  • A good standard of literacy and numeracy as demonstrated by qualifications at GCSE grade C or higher (or equivalent), or by relevant work experience.
  • Experience in the use of all MS Office applications (in particular, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and computerised systems.
  • Experience of supporting financial procedures, including raising and processing requisitions and invoices.
